CRIMINAL JUSTICE GRADUATE SURVEY

Attention Criminal Justice Alumni!!!

The Criminal Justice Department is conducting an evaluation of its program in preparation for academic review and certification by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS). ACJS is an international association established in 1963 to foster professional and scholarly activities in the field of criminal justice. It promotes criminal justice education, research and policy analysis within the discipline of criminal justice for both educators and practitioners. The Criminal Justice Faculty believes that the academic review and certification by ACJS will serve as an objective indicator of the quality of the program. Thus, it will help the program to attract students, faculty, criminal justice professionals and financial resources to the program.

In order to reach this major milestone, The Criminal Justice Faculty needs your help. The first step in the academic review/certification process is to complete a self-study of the program. An important part of the self-study will come from feedback from our alumni and their employers.

Please support our effort by completing the survey by June 3, 2005. The survey will be administered to fall 1999 thru summer 2004 graduates. If you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please contact Ms. Giselle White-Perry by phone at (803) 536-8803 or by electronic mail at zf_gwhite@scsu.edu. Thank you for your support of the Criminal Justice Program at South Carolina State University.
